Why does Bo have Paul up there?...I always thought this was a  song.
Anyway, you know you're on my watchlist, so I had to come back to this, as it really is one of my favorite Beatles tunes...but then I probably have over 100 favorite Beatles tunes.. ..anyway....
The bass......the bass guitar performance is fantastic, but it's just a bit too busy IMHO. It sounds like Chris Squire of Yes....well maybe not quite that busy...but close. It just doesn't seem to blend the rhythm and the instrumentation quite like it should. It's as if the bass is on a different wavelength than the rest of the song. I would maybe try a deeper bass sound...and if you're going to play a 'real bass' then try to keep it to the lower two strings.
Everything else sounds great.....

Thanks Spike - so in other words, apart from being shit, the bass sounds great  (joking) !!
Appreciate the feedback, thanks GT, apparently 3 songs were left off the USA version of Revolver (all of them Lennon songs) and one of them being 'I'm Only Sleeping', what a crime !!

Nice sounding track, like the fusion style drums and synth
The guitars have a nice flow too  Not familiar with the original track, but good job!

I am not familiar with the original here...
I have listened to both version & I like this one the best - I think the drums in this one are much clearer & make the mix clearer overal.
Spike - I hear what you are saying about the bass... reminds me of Chris Squire too!
If there is one thing I would change it would be to cut-back on the vocal effects a bit to increase clarity as I feel they sound a bit heavy & busy in places but this could be down to personal taste I guess.
This is a very cool song & new for me!
